You feel at ease as soon as you step inside the Schlosswirt Forst.
The ambience in this Bed & Breakfast still exudes the romanticism of a bygone era. It is everywhere: in the wood-paneled stube, in the fine decorative fabrics, adorned terracotta floors, old paintings, the stoves and so on. Tradition is evident in every detail.
There are six tastefully styled rooms at the Schlosswirt Forst where one can take some valuable time off to reflect and relax in tranquillity, each with its own story and atmosphere. Each room is individually designed with wooden flooring, hand-embroidered linen curtains, and marble tiles from Carrara.
Our highlight to meet your preferences.
We listen carefully to your wishes and we go the extra mile to meet them. Our delicious à la carte breakfast menu includes a selection of coffees and teas, egg dishes, fresh fruit and dairy products, besides finest delicacies and specialties from our kitchen. Like with any other meal, at breakfast time we choose to focus on genuine ingredients from our vegetable garden or produce from the local farms.

"This lovely hotel is a little slice of paradise. From the delicious welcome drink at our arrival, to the spacious room with excellent bedding, the wonderful breakfast on the terrace and the friendly, efficient and very helpful staff, everything was perfect. I had an acute tooth problem during my stay and urgently had to consult a dentist. The secretary of the hotel was of great help and managed to immediately get me an appointment with an excellent dentist, the very same day, which saved the rest of our road trip. Unfortunately we could not dine in the hotel's restaurant (although we would have loved to) as there was a private party going on on the day we arrived and the next day was the restaurant's weekly day off, but the restaurant's garden seemed very cozy and romantic. Instead, we had diner in the hotel's biergarten. (the hotel has its own brewery and biergarten a little higher up on the same road) The hotel's location is ideal to visit Merano, the Trauttmansdorf gardens or even Bolzano and the Ötzi Museum."
